What materials did you use? Silk Brocade skirt, poly lining mimicking silk charmeuse, contrast zipper, coordinating bias tape for waistband

What are you most proud of? The creativity & determination: The lining detail and compliment to the brocade. The intentional work that went into fitting the pattern for ME so that the skirt truly fit!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? ask lots of questions, don't skip the muslin, consider fabrics and make it as pretty on the inside as it is on the outside! You'll love that part more each time you wear it.

Wow!! You went to a lot of trouble to make this skirt special and it all worked!!

I always fawn over this fabric when I'm in the brocade section at Jo-Ann's. I never buy it because it looks too hard to manipulate without the imperfections showing. But you make sewing it look easy! Beautiful job!
