Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Quilting Big Projects on a Small Machine »

Instructions

This project was the result of another Craftsy class as well. That is Kaye Englands "Re-Piecing the Past - Civil War Blocks".

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Men

Style: Retro / Vintage

Materials

Cotton Fabrics. 80-20 Batting, cotton thread

What was your inspiration?

The blocks were pieced as a result of another Craftsy class, by Kaye England, "Re-Piecing the Past" Civil War Blocks".
Also I watched and completed Ann Peterson's other Craftsy class, "Beyond Basic Machine Quilting".

What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of the quilting. I quilted it 'block by block', fitting the 'loop or flower petal shapes ' to each block. It is my first large project quilted by machine. Thank you Ann for your instructions and the confidence to tackle this project.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Go for it...
