Liked the pattern image but knew it would need to be restyled to fit my figure
What are you most proud of?
The fit and finish of the blouse. I used to French seams to create a clean interior finish as the fabric frayed excessively.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The ruffle was the most difficult part of the project. Achieving a clean 1/8" rolled hem on the ruffle was difficult even with a rolled hem presser foot. There is a great tip on Threads magazine for using paper to roll hem that is worth trying.
