I have a Canon power shot as well. I will try taking your hints. I think I was using the zoom.

I love all of your blocks! I also like how clear your photographs are. I have tried with a flash on and without a flash. In daylight and in the evening with artificial light and I just can't seem to get pictures that I am really happy with. Can your give me any hints on how to take good pictures of my blocks?

I always try for natural light by a window, but honestly I have to give kudos to my camera. It's a little Canon PowerShot, and it is really good. One other little tip...try not to use the zoom. Good luck!

All of your blocks are gorgeous, you have even made the Asterisk block look good lol, cant wait to see the finished quilt. That blue fabric you used appears to have a linnen finnish and adds to its charm.

Thanks so much! I just finally looked yesterday at the selvage for the name of the blue fabric. Guess what? It's called Linen Texture by P & B Textiles! :-)
