What was your inspiration?
Every grand daughter gets a 'big girl' quilt when she turns 6 (last week for Bree), Bree is my color lover-part rainbow brite, part fancy nancy, Her very favorite color is yellow, i used scrap fabric from various other quilts i made and many outfits i made all 4 grand daughters
What are you most proud of?
I finally found a project to use the many templates I've collected over the years to do the hand quilting in the alternate block, that was a lot of fun!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
have your scraps sorted by color, it cuts down time with the 9 patch!
