Braided horsehair using owner provided hair. The horses that contributed the hair that made this bracelet are as follows :
Sunday - 34 year old bay Quarter Horse mare
Marion - 15 year old chocolate palomino Miniature mare
Belle - 22 year old flaxen chestnut Miniature mare

All of my horsehair items are handmade by me using horsehair gathered from animals encountered through my work in the animal welfare field. Only a small amount is taken from each horse during the normal grooming process. Each animal is an individual who's memory lives on in the items made from their hair, even after the animal has passed through my life. All my horsehair is cruelty-free, is not a by-product of the equine slaughter industry and is vegetarian/vegan friendly.
