What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be careful working with the vinyl so you do not wrinkle it..I suggest get a thicker vinyl, yet one that won't distort a picture when it is put behind it. Bring along a picture to make sure it will look nice.

Teresa we are so much alike. We make a lot of the same things. Did you see my huge tote with the fruit bottoms on it? I have made four of them. Would you like the pattern? I have an extra. It finishes at 18" by 22". You can carry anything in it. Let me know.

I looked but never could find it...is it listed here? My kitchen is in fruit. I like your quilting tote! great idea. I dont do projects as much as I used to, but something I plan on doing soon is making grocery totes since Walmart is about to start charging for plastic bags. I'm looking forward to coming up w/a few totes for this purpose, too.

Wow cool! I have some fabrics that would be hot! It is a bundle of fruit and veggies. I think there are 15 FQ in the pack. I bought it on ebay a few years ago and never used them. You could use solids and add the print in front and back in canvas, denim or ticking. I have tons. Let me know if you need anything. We can work something out.or do you have tons of fabric like me? My tote is in blue denim with gals with huge bottoms in the shape of fruit. LOL!
