What was your inspiration?
I made one for his sister so he put in his order. He said he wanted to be a pirate and "make sure it says: Capt. Ben Stone". OK. You got it, Benny.
What are you most proud of?
Ben's Dad has his own lobster boat so I put a pirate hat on a lobster on one side.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Use really fluffy towels. They will be washed alot so make sure everything is secure. Rather than applique the pirate hat "in the hoop" I did it separately and then fused & sewed it on.
