What was your inspiration?
Always wanted to do patchwork and quilting and noticed this course mentioned on a forum. It's exactly what I was after and being a monthly thing there is no pressure on trying to get it done.
What are you most proud of?
Dresden plates is the one patchwork square I have always admired from a distance and now I can say that I can do them! I am sure I will be doing many more of these
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
It's worth investing in the plastic dresden easy template as cutting out was so much easier. Also practise on yoru sewing machine first. I have a new machine and thought I'd zigzag around the edge - how difficult can it be? I was so scared as it wasn't like my old machine. I am please with the results though.
