What was your inspiration?
Class: I'm a beginner quilter and I wanted to expand my skills; I've only done one quilt top and it was squares.
Fabric: I wanted to use this fabric I've had for awhile and thought it would work well for the surprise blocks each month.
What are you most proud of?
Sticking with it; with only two blocks a month it's a great way to learn but not to get overwhelmed. It also leaves me time to work on my other art projects but I have to admit I've caught the quilt bug now and I'm quite impatient for each months post.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This class is a great way to learn quilting.
