What are you most proud of? I am proud to be learning new ways to sew blocks together. Some people are easy to learn off of. Amy, and Eleanor Burns are two people that are easy to learn from.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Give it a little thought as to what colors you want to see in your whole quilt.

Your block is so different because the fabrics make you focus on the center square shape where most others focus on the flying pinwheel /feathers. Good dynamic!

I think the background will need to be in each block. So far she has constructed each block that way & I think that's to create continuity.

yes, I am making two quilts, that is why I started out with the white, but decided I wanted the black background. if they dont all come together later, at least I will have one that is good.

Nice to see what using a black background fabric and bold solids will do for this block pattern. Very nice!
