BOM - October Block 1

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Craftsy Block of the Month 2012 »

Instructions

I used Carol Doaks Foundation paper and didn't need to pre-sew the perforation holes. I also reduced the pattern to 97% so the finished block would be the standard 12.5" (Altho the 1" check box was correct, each finished pattern piece was a .25" bigger than it should be)

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

What was your inspiration?

Amy and fellow class mates, of course!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Its easier than it looks and great fun!

Love those striped fabrics! Great block! How does it feel to have all the blocks done? Ready to assemble the top? What are you going to use for the sashing?

Thanks, yeah really love using stripes and zig zags for this block... some blocks are just suited to movement and this was definitely one of them. I see you are like minded :-)
