Materials

The ribbon is made of hand dyed silk in tones of beautiful purple, teal and green. At the center of the the silk wrap is an old Turkoman button from the Middle East. On either side of the button are purple lampwork beads. These are accompanied by 4 old bells from India, they make a gentle jingle sound when moving. The metal is very light weight and has lovely patina. They are old and quite aged which adds to their uniqueness and gives them a look of antiquity.

What was your inspiration?

I felt inspired by belly dancing and wanted to create something that was light weight and comfortable and would made a lovely jingle sound while dancing. And something that looked exotic and old.
