Wow Dude you must be at your machine all the time - I love blue too and this is very creative. Like the crispness of the white with it.

Thanks Beth. I was off work for the Holidays, and that gave me plenty of time to sit and sew. I think this is the 4th quilt I finished in 3 weeks off of work! LOL Looking back, it does seem that all I did was quilt, but I enjoy it so, the hours just fly by! This was a quick little project to use up those scraps, since I've promised myself to buy minimal fabric and dig into my never-decreasing stash!

That is a really cute quilt! I know right? Quilting hours just fly by. It's nice to just sew sometimes and not go crazy with a complicated pattern. That's what I'm doing right now too - 2 easy, just fun quilts. Very relaxing! I gave away my blue and white quilt but you are inspiring me to get the scraps going to good use!! Thank you for sharing! Have you taken the knife class???? It's really good!

I'm amazed you did this in 4 days. I have never made a quilt but keep saying I want to learn. I confess, I'm intimidated and fear the project would end up being a year long or something. (I don't know much about sewing to begin with.) Thanks for sharing your beautiful quilts.

Hi, Terri! Even though I am an experienced quilter (I would not call myself 'professional' by a long shot), I had to start from somewhere. I highly recommend you try making a quilt... It will be a learning experience, and hopefully you'll enjoy the process and get the quilting bug. Start a small project, with a simple design. Borrow a sewing machine, or buy an inexpensive one - they have some for about $100 or so (Yes, that is inexpensive as far as machines go... Don't ask how much I paid for my Janomee 7700! LOL) Don't be scared, it is fun! I hope you get inspired enough to go for it and try to make a project, and share it on here. Thanks for the kind words about my work, and I hope to see your projects posted on Craftsy real soon. :-) :-) :-)
