What was your inspiration?

My Mema is a quilter and I grew up using and loving all of her quilts. I knew I wanted to learn to quilt someday so when I found out about this class I jumped at the opportunity to try it out.

What are you most proud of?

I just learned to use a sewing machine last September - so to go from not knowing how to sew at all to making a whole quilt in one year is huge for me.

Huge pat on the back for you, your blocks look awesome! Another beginner here, altho I knew how to use a sewing machine, I just didn't like it LOL. Hasn't this BOM class been a great way to learn... looking at your beautiful blocks I would say you're as hooked as I am ;-) Exciting bringing them all together, that's for sure. Can't wait to see your quilt finished.

Good for you! You have done a wonderful job on all the blocks. They look great. What a feeling of accomplishment. I just started sewing/quilting in May so this class has been a huge learning experience for me too.
