What are you most proud of?
I'd never tried feathers before, thinking they'd be difficult, but this was a lot easier than I expected. I'm pleased that ithe FMQ came out looking fairly even.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I found it a good idea to draw parallel lines with a Chaco (chalk) marker first, so that I wouldn't find myself quilting downhill or uphill. The chalk brushes off quite easily when you don't need the markings any more.
