What was your inspiration?

This was made for a customer of mine. She wanted a football themed birth announcement pillow. The dad of the new baby is a football coach at her son's high school.

What are you most proud of?

The pillow is 12x16. I usually finish a pillow like this with piping, but the themed fabric would've been lost. So I opted for a flanged edge. This is the first time using a flanged edge and I LOVE it!!! Mostly because it hides all the seams inside. So the inside looks as clean and finished as the outside. The back is done in the themed fabric as well and the case is removable.

The machine embroidery design is a paid for design by Lynnie Pinnie. It stitched out beautifully.
