Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: Fondant, gel food colors
What advice would you give someone starting this project? Have your transfer patterns the exact size and the look you want long before you bake the cakes. Start early and plan to stay up late. Let the fondant set at least 8 hours before doing pencil transfer. For best results don't use corn starch or powdered sugar on the outside of the fondant when applying fondant to the cake, as the pencil marks won't transfer as well.
