What was your inspiration?
My plan was to make a mobile with about 6 different birds, each with a different sound inside. I haven't got around to making any more yet.
What are you most proud of?
I love watching the different things my baby does to catch the bird - hitting with her hands, grabbing with both hands, kicking, pinning it against the cot with her feet,... I feel really proud that I made something that fascinates her so much.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This is so easy to make, you could get your kids to do it if they are able to use a normal needle and thread and do a simple whip stitch.
