What was your inspiration?
I was inspired by the crocheted doilies and bedspreads made by my grandmother. It was said that back in the "Old Country" she was exempt from manual farm labor as a child, because she could make an entire thigh-length stocking in an afternoon!
What are you most proud of?
The bottom lattice section and the picot edging.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't be afraid to try it! It's easier than it looks, and I make the directions as simple and clear as I can.
