Instructions

I'd recommend a yarn with more drape than the one I used. I was experimenting, admittedly, but the shawl came out a little less fluid than I would have liked.

What was your inspiration?

My mom loves purple! I had this huge thing of yarn I bought on an impulse and was gifted the pattern book for my birthday. I thought this shawl would be a good one to start with since I had the yardage handy.

What are you most proud of?

I had started this a week prior to my mom coming out to visit. When she was browsing through the Wrapped In Crochet book she got to the picture of Stella and said "ooh this one is cute". How's that for reading minds?
