What materials did you use? I used a lightweight cotton fabric with a cutaway stabilizer and blue poly embroidery thread. The photo was of my grandson's bar mitzvah.

What are you most proud of? This was a real challenge for me. I tried to not get into too much detail, but yet enough to convey the subject. The clean up before considering it completed took forever. I have no idea if I overdid or what. I could have done this with one less thread clip but decided that separating the head stitches from the body stitches would be easier this time.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I originally did this for a 5 X 7 hoop. I shrunk it to the 4 X 4 and decided it looked much better. Sometimes less is more. The neat thing about digitizing you can change sizes at your whim.

This is a wonderful keep sake of Ben's Bar Mitzvah. I agree about the extra thread clip. It was a smart choice. The larger the area, the more detail and the smaller the area less detail. This is really perfect for 4x4. I do love the flexibility of sizing, too!
