What was your inspiration?
I'd had this pattern in my queue to work for more than a year. I was just waiting for the perfect yarn. I recently purchased this yarn from a contact who was destashing and it was just right for this shawl! The end result is a light and airy shawl/neck warmer that's perfect for a night out when the air conditioning is a bit too much. Great for colder weather, too.
What are you most proud of?
The modifications. The pattern calls for fringe to be added to the sides, but I'm really not a fringe person. Instead I made two tassels and I think it's much better for me!
