This is a redo of one of my first sewing projects. It recently wore out after being worn almost every weekend for 9 years. I cut the pattern out of a bias tube I sewed following instructions from Threads magazine (volume 107, June/July 2003 "A New Twist on Bias Layouts" by Samina Mizra.)Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
A friend asked me to teach a 90 minute demonstration class for beginning sewers at a skillshare she's organizing. A made this skirt in preparation for the class.
What are you most proud of?
As I sewed it, I realized that I've learned a lot since I made this pattern the first time.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
It's pretty simple. Have a good time with it!
