What materials did you use? Scraps, fat quarters, and a few batik fabrics. Also some fusible web for the applique.

This was a fun project and is a good starter because you get to experiment with traditional piecing, applique, and FMQ (free motion quilting) all on a small project. The tops did go together rather quickly, so I followed the designer's advice and I did indeed make two! One for my guest room and the other a gift for mom who collects bee stuff. You can choose whatever fabrics you like, of course, but I liked the bright cheery yellow of the beehive for this wintertime project.
