Beaded scarf

Instructions

I used one bottle of beads and less than a ball of thread. I don't remember the size of the thread but I used a size 7 hook.

What was your inspiration?

I saw a similar scarf at a department store and decided to try it myself. I modified it but am very happy with how it turned out.

What are you most proud of?

Just figuring out how to add the beads. I knew they were too small to put a crochet hook through so the only other way was to thread them first.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Remember that it will stretch some after you begin wearing it so don't think it will be too short after the first row. It is plenty long to tie in front as an adornment.

I also prefer quilting but I can crochet while watching TV so I get some of that done too. I have arthritis in my hands so I'm sure my days of knitting and crocheting are limited.

I have things going on like that too, and It is hard to know that one day you might not be doing something that you love. So I do as much now as I can.

This must look stunning with your red hair - maybe someone will photograph you wearing it? Would love to see that, too! I love how you outsmarted the beads-
