Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: The cake was made as a french vanilla cake with oreo bits inside. I did a crumb coat with vanilla buttercream and let all three layers set in the fridge while I prepared the fondant. I covered each layer with fondant. And the stripes, dots, and the Batman logo is made out of fondant. The two batarangs are foam toys I bought at Walmart. This cake was my very first cake ever made using fondant. I also used the buttercream and colored it yellow for the piping around the cake. And i bought white chocolate candies for decorations. It was for a friend for their birthday. It was really fun to do. And I'm pretty proud of it for being my first cake with fondant.
