What materials did you use? Glitter denim and batik fabrics

What are you most proud of? I am rather pleased with the quilting, it took a while, but I learned alot.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just go for it! You're better than you may think.

Wow this is great in so many ways. I love the pattern, it uses denim (great idea to use sparkly) and your quilting denim. Did you use a long arm? What kind of thread did you use?

I love this and all the rich colors

I used a variegated maxi lock thread (big mistake, it broke alot) I quilted it with a brother 1500p on a grace frame. I learned that superior thread needles help, but also because of its weave batik can often be difficult to quilt. Thank You for such wonderful comments. : ) I am working on the same pattern using black denim and an interesting green multicolored cotton (not batik)
