Instructions
I used a fussy cut center of ballerinas, then cut off a couple corners of that cut, added various widths of strips in a clockwise manner until it was the size block I wanted, then squared it up. I added a solid border around that and then matched block size for the alternating coordinated blocks.Difficulty:

Materials
100% cotton fabrics, many were scrap strips for the 'wonky' blocks with the fussy cut center ballerina. Quilted with 100% cotton batting and embroidery thread top and bottom.
What was your inspiration?
Wanting to provide whimsical and fun quilts for children in hospitals in our area. These quilts are donated for the Project Linus organization who distribute them.
What are you most proud of?
That this quilt was made mostly from scraps and from a great sale on the ballerina print.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just have fun! Build the 'wonky' blocks to whatever size you desire and use up your scraps! So much fun!
