What materials did you use? I used Wool-Ease yarn (80% acrylic/20%wool) from Lion Brand. (Purchased at my local JoAnn Fabrics.)

What are you most proud of? This is the first sweater pattern that I've designed and it took a lot of work. I read a lot about sweater design, knitted a couple raglan designs from other patterns to familiarize myself with the construction, then jumped right in. It took a lot of test-knitting to finalize my design, but I am thrilled with the way it came out and feel like all my work was worth it!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? This sweater begins at the neckline and I can not emphasize enough how important it is to use a VERY loose and stretchy cast-on. I give a recommendation in the pattern complete with a link to a tutorial video...make sure you use either this cast-on or another cast-on that you are sure is very, very stretchy. You don't want the baby to feel like he's being born again every time he has to put his head through this neckline!

I just signed on to this web site. Do you charge for your patterns? If so how much is this pattern? If not how do you get the pattern? Joyce at joycebooboo@aol.com
