What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The booties pattern has an error:
First increase row should read: k to last 1 stitch (not 2stitches), m1, k1
I joined the last contrast stripe to body of bootie using kitchener stitch and also used kitchener stitch to seam under the foot, resulting in no bulky seams for baby's little feet.
Also, I think the booties are a tad too large for such a small beanie. Maybe reduce the number of garter stitch rows to shorten length.
