What was your inspiration?
It was a combination of cruising blogs and the fat quarter sale at Joann. Plus, I had been wanting to work with linen for a while. This seemed like the right project. I chose to go for the dark brown/warmer version for this project.
What are you most proud of?
That I came home from the store, got started right away, and had 2 quilt tops made (as well as 8 extra blocks - waiting for a project) within the short span of a week. Most of it was done the first and second nights, but the next time my little guy went to his dad's, I got 'em done!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Play with color. So fun.
