Wisdom poems sock yarn/Pumpkin Patch
What was your inspiration?
I love the fall and the color of the leaves. When i was browsing yarns I saw this one and noticed the bright color of the oranges and the greens i kind of got excited. maybe just a little bit. ahaha :)
What are you most proud of?
I am glad that I took this class. I have made numerous sweaters and for some reason I could not get the gauge down. I would make an entire sweater come to find out that it would not look or fit right. It's extrememly frustrating. The thing I am most proud of is that this bolero fits and I learned ways to adjust certain measurements thorughout the process of this project in order to make this fit right.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I think one thing that I could have done differently was add more stitices to the front. If you have a larger bust definitly consider that when your knitting this. Altough, I know I still have to knit the button band, I keep thinking that it will be a little tight. I dislike it when you have a buttoned shirt or sweater and the buttons look like they might pop and hit someone in the eye. :P
