What was your inspiration?
Flecia Lo's spinning dyed fibers course on craftsy. This was fractal spun on bfl wool. I split the combed top in half and put one section to the side and kept it whole. I split the second section into 4 additional sections. I then spun both sections onto 2 bobbins and plied them together.
I got 350 yds on 4 oz of fiber, sport-ish weight.
This was such a fun technique to try! I could see the gradual striping as I was wrapping this onto my niddy noddy. I can't wait to see it knit up.
