I'm thinking (and it's just my opinion), that a cute old fashioned small size red gingham (actually any color that would please you), could be an option. I think gingham is so homey and warm and while it would go beautifully with your top, it would not overpower it. I am sure whatever you find will be perfect. You have done such a great job already in mixing colors. Good luck

Strawberry Fields is so beautiful Wish I had purchased some when it was readily available. You are doing a superb job on your blocks. I am so enjoying them right along with you.

Thank you so much! I still have to hunt down some backing fabric and I can't find the one I want. I may have to be less choosy at this point!
