What are you most proud of? This one I did free motion on the wood grain strips. It was not hard but i wanted each strip to look a little different. Finished quilt looked very good.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? take your time and learn free motion first.

I have finally had a chance to find a pattern for a window frame without the mitered corners.Love this picture, but in quilting, there is not to much I do not like.

you do not need to do a mitered corner. you can make a 2pc square using 2 triangles to make that corner.

I did an attic windows before and found the mitred corners were difficult! Never thought of mading a triangle for corner. Have several other attic window quilts I am planning to do. No mitred corners for me!

Another pattern I would like to know about ? I have several fabrics that would go awesome with the window frame block. Thank you.
