What materials did you use? My hand painted silk satin. I have painted silk for a long time but stopped because I could never sew it properly. Linda Lee not only shows you how to make beautiful cushions but what thread to use (which is where I was going wrong) and what feet to use on the sewing machine. The other thing which I had never given a thought to was Pins. Linda said that for silk you need Glass Head Pins and that they should be changed on a reasonably regular basis depending how much they are used. I think I have had my pins for about 30 years, and wondered why they didn't seems sharp enough!!!!
