Instructions

This is the cardigan version of my Apogee pullover, the first pattern in my Altitude line. Apogee means the farthest or highest point. I’m usually the highest point in a room, lol, and I know that most of the tall knitters I’ve designed this for are as well.

This pattern includes traditional lengths as well.

What was your inspiration?

I needed to reknit the sample for the Apogee Pullover, so I decided to go nuts and just knit a cardigan. That lead to another version of my first pattern...because who doesn't love a good cardigan ;)

What are you most proud of?

The cables creating the waist shaping, the fun cable details along the bottom side of the sleeves, and the simple toggle closure. Toggles make this design more accessible to those who are less confident in their ability to knit buttonholes.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Block the sweater before you pick up the stitches for the button band!
