Hi! At the top of the page, there is a question "What was your source for this crocheting project?" and then "Name of website or photo" and you simply click the link next to that. It should take you directly to the Caron website. It looks like they changed it since I made the link, and now they call it the "Amita" shawl. Here is the current website addy: http://www.yarnspirations.com/pattern/crochet/amita-shawl

Don't be fooled by the "intermediate" classification. A beginner could do this!

I have found the pattern for the free download but it does not include the trim.

It looks just right for an outdoor wedding through--thanks!

It's a really easy and pretty pattern! And you can add any border you want, and it'll look different. I've many several! My favorite border book ever (and this border pattern is in it) is Around the Corner Crochet Borders, and it is by Edie Eckman. (That info is also in my materials notes, but in case you missed it, I figured I'd let ya know.) Happy crocheting!

MimiX6--for some reason, I cannot reply to your comment nor link to your name, but I don't want to leave you hanging. That is correct. The linked pattern doesn't give you the border. That information is in the "What materials did you use?" section directly next you the project picture. In it, I state the book I got the border pattern from. Because it is copyrighted information, all I can tell you is what number border it is in that book. I'm sure you understand. But if you are looking for a truly excellent and useful border book, that is a GREAT one! Happy crocheting!

Love it and without the border it seems blah to me. You just got me to buy the border book and am looking forward to making one. Thanks for sharing the information.

Hi, Roxanne! I'm so glad you like my border choice! One of the things I like most about this shawl is that it has "good bones," and can be enhanced by any border. And you got the best border book out there!! Have fun!! :-)
