I'm looking to make 2 Minnie hats for my twin granddaughters, They are 6yrs. old, what age child are the hats for? Also where can I find the pattern for the big Red bow? The hats are great looking and you did such a good job. I know there will be lots of children out there wearing them. I have already mad ELMO & Grover hats off the Crafty web. Please help with my questions.Thank you

The directions for the hat should fit a 6 year old. For the red bow, I just made a rectangle of single crochet rows to about the size I wanted, and then pinched it together in the middle. Then I took a length of yarn and wrapped it around the pinched part. Tack it on, and then I put a dot of hot glue on the ears and stuck the bow to it. That helps it all stand up straight. I hope this helps.

Imade up a pattern myself for minnie mouse beanies and have made loads of them for all ages inciluding adults. For the bow i just decided how long i needed it (i made mine double width and foldd over for more stability) completed rows in hwight/width i needed then ast off. for the middle one just mae 4 chains and completed enought rows to go around the doubed bow tightly to bunch the bow up in the moddle. Hope this has been helpful

I didn't use a pattern, but all you need to do is make a basic cap, and then make 4 circles. I stitch two circles back to band and then attach them to the hat. Make a big red bow and you're done!

These are really cute, Thank you so much for posting this. I've been looking for a pattern for my nieces. But I have never crocheted anything before. Knitting is my forte. Any suggestions for knitting something similar.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!! My youngest step-daughter is recently obsessed with Hello Kitty! Christmas is covered with earrings and other such things, but her birthday is in January as well. You have made this easy to follow and I also found your instructions for the bow as well, so I am set. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us!

I've posted the instructions...I hope you can understand what I'm trying to say...I'm not so good at writing down a pattern! I just noticed I forgot the bow! It's really easy. Just chain 5 and join. sc in circle and then chain 3. Make 4 treble crochet in ring, chain 3, sc in ring. chain 3 then 4 more treble crochet, ch 3 and sc in ring, join and finish off with a long tail. Wrap the tail around the ring to make the bow and sew it on...really cool! :) I sure hope all this helps.

I don't have a pattern when I make these. I just start crocheting and never really know how things will turn out, but I'm usually happy with the outcome. Which one are you interested in? Perhaps I could try and write it down for you.
