Wee Ones: Seamless Knit Toys taught by Susan B. Anderson

Susan’s Wee Ones — elephant, hippo and bunny — are so cute, you'll want to keep them for yourself! You’ll be able to knit dozens using the same basic pattern, which was designed exclusively for Craftsy!

What materials did you use? Acrylic yarns so that there is no problem with children who are sensitive to wool. Lots of poly-fill stuffing makes these guys come alive. Take the Wee Ones class with Susan B. Anderson...ever since that class I can't stop making animals!

What are you most proud of? So glad to have learned the techniques used in knitting in the round. I now can convert patterns to knitting in the round, too.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you are intimidated by DPN's take the class. Advice from my Mom: Just pay attention to the two DPN's you are knitting with and ignore the others. So right, Mom.

Love all your animals. What brand of acrylic yarn did you use as I love the effect of it?

I have been using Lion Brand Vana's Choice or Deborah Norville Everyday, depending on the color available. For these toys it doesn't make sense to me to spend too much and I like the acrylic for children in case there might be a wool allergy. They are soooo fun to make and everyone, child to adult, goes crazy over them. :)
