What was your inspiration?

My friend had a little girl who was really shy until her mother found her a very big plastic doll, this became her best friend. I thought a softer version would be easier to play with.

What are you most proud of?

The way each face comes out different and their popularity in the old people's home near me. It seems they are good company for the elderly too! Just goes to show you can never be too old to have a new friend.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Give it a personality! you can really have fun with these. Use plenty of stuffing in the joints so they don't sag too much. Remember being so big it's easy to find outfits from charity shops!
