I made this Balkan Frame block (thanks NewbieJean--you're an inspiration!) in lieu of the Star String block. I like this very much -- but putting it together from just a picture was a challenge! Be sure you know which pieces you're cutting! (Yikes.) And... Have Fun!Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
I'm working a little behind -- so I've gotten to see what everyone else has been doing! What a treat. You folks are all so inspiring. (I'm off to start my April hexie blocks -- so exciting...)
What are you most proud of?
I actually figured out how to put this block together without instructions or a guide sheet, just a picture! This is my *6th-ever* quilt block.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
