Great idea and very well made project. I was also thinking about a 'punctuation themed' set of pillow. Do you have any recommendation for the type of fabric to use?

I would recommend something sturdy like a twill or canvas. You can always back your fabric with woven interfacing to stiffen it. I have lots of tips on my blog: www.seasonedhomemaker.com
