Instructions

Nothing other than to buy the appropriate yarn and the pattern from Amy Gaines on etsy.com and the usual tools for crocheting.

Difficulty:

Category: Crocheting

Type of item: Toy

For: Children

Style: Mod, Funky, Cute, Whimsical

Materials

worsted yarn, G - 5.5 mm hook, embroidery floss, tap needle, pattern from etsy.com. / Amy Gaines.

What was your inspiration?

I saw Amy Gaines on a video and she had these dolls and so I went to etsy and found them. I don't know what I paid for them but not much for the three dolls. I did not do the cat since I did not have the cat eyes and it looked stupid without the oval pupil in the eye so I just tore it out. I don't plan to make the cat.

What are you most proud of?

Only that I finished two but one was not finished that one being the cat doll.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Buy the cat eye or put the eyes on with embroidery floss. I did not buy the child proof cat eyes. I did not like the prospect of crocheting the long curved tail. It just did not seem like fun to me. These dolls were a lot of work and took me about 5 days for each.
