What materials did you use? cotton fabric, aurifil thread in "sand". I will be backing this in a solid paprika cotton from the same line with a cotton batting to hang it on the wall.

What are you most proud of? actually, my color choices. I'm exceedingly happy with how everything worked together.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time, and make sure your block corners match up. Pins are your friends.

Right now, I'm working with my cell phone camera, but my bedroom overhead light is hard to correct. The harvest gold is much richer and the reds are "paprika", a very brick/rusty color. The photo on the sewing machine is under an Ottlite, and the truest color.
