The client ordered what he loves - All Star shoes :)

What are you most proud of?

I'm proud of the way it looks, I think it looks pretty realistic.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Be patient and pay attention to every little detail.

Hi! I am new to this website so forgive me I am just not sure which pattern you talk about :) I did not use a pattern. Basically I carved the cake like an All star shoe and covered with buttercream. Than I used fondant to cover it. First grey, then white. Last thing I did is using the smallest tip I had for the stitches on the shoe - I used white icing for that. Hope that helps and would love to see the one you will make for your husband :)
