This is beautiful and exactly what I want to be able to do. I did my first cable knitting two years ago and it was a nice simple cable on a hat and scarf set. I loved doing it and it made me feel more confident in trying more. When I read the description of this class this morning I knew it is exactly what I'm looking for. I will be signing up :)

Was this I-cord knit separately, and then sewn on, or part of the knitting? It is beautiful and intricate! Is it a test piece or part of a sweater?

When I worked the design swatch I sewed the cords on but when I wrote the pattern instructions I had them worked first and added by knitting them on- as in the instructions that I give in the handouts for the lesson
