Knitting With Beads »

Instructions

The nupps do take a little time to get use to but they are worth it!

Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Classic, Romantic, Cute, Traditional

Materials

A really soft wool and silk blend! A joy to wear! :-)

What was your inspiration?

The very talented Laura Nelkin and her beautiful design!

What are you most proud of?

Finally getting the hang of the nupps. As a tight knitter, I had to be very loose and it wasn't easy!
I'm also happy with the changes I made. I changed the bead's place from the yarn over to the stitch beside them and I really like how they highlight the pattern!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Practice and stay loose!

Thanks! Nupps are very hard at first and it took me a lot of time to learn to make them but after a while it becomes easier! Don't give up! :-)

Wow what a superb shawl!! It looks really so soft and slinky to wear and I know you will have lots of fun wearing it and probably lots of compliments too. Thanks for encouraging me to keep on trying to master lace knitting. Bisous
