What was your inspiration?

Seeing all the finished shawls!

What are you most proud of?

That I stuck with this after two failed attempts, knowing that the end result would be totally worth it!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Read the pattern and follow it carefully. It is very well written, and the course is awesome for learning new techniques. Unfortunately, I didn't follow carefully in my first two attempts, so the mistakes I made were totally careless. Also, if you run into trouble, ask questions! Laura is an amazing teacher, and is very willing to help and guide along the way! Happy Knitting! :)

Yes reading the instructions carefully definitely helps. I ended up with the larger Clarus because I neglected to read that the second repeat was not all the way to row 88 again AFTER I got to row 88 again. Easier to keep knitting than to rip back at that point. But I like the larger one now anyway!

Very pretty. I have the class in my library and want to take it as soon as I complete her Lace Shawl class. Can't wait. Thanks for the inspiration.

Looks like all the hard work paid off in the end. The shawl is beautiful.
